Hey there, I’m Liza!

In addition to being a mother of two young children, I have been an Early Childhood educator - and now administrator - for more than a decade. ​In both of these avenues, I have learned a lot about what toys and activities are developmentally appropriate, engage curiosity, and keep children's attention.

After curating travel kits and activities for my own children, as well as consulting for family and friends in need of their own, I realized it was time to share this expertise with the greater Northeast Ohio community. Thus, Otter Tots was born!

For every age - there’s a stage. We take into account that an older infant has a different skill set than a younger infant, and that the average toddler’s ability to attend to an activity is shorter than that of a preschooler.

Each kit can be customized to a child’s interests and abilities, as well as a customer’s needs and preferences.

From age-relevant books to toys that inspire skill development, our kits reflect a variety of ways to engage curiosity.

All toys and activities are gathered in a lightweight bag and can be acquired through porch pickup or delivery options. Items are then returned just as easily!

  • We expect normal wear and tear to happen, and ideally items will all be returned in gentle used condition. However, please be advised that additional charges may be incurred if an item with an average retail value of $10 or more is missing or rendered irreparable.

  • In addition to our Tot-2-Go Kit, all items clearly labeled “Art Materials Set” and “Sensory Dough Set” do not need to be returned.

  • Yes! In fact, customers will receive 20% OFF their total price when ordering 2 kits or more.

  • We offer porch pickup/drop-off

    (local delivery/pickup coming soon!)

  • After finalizing details for your order via email or phone, you will pay with a credit card over the phone or through an online link sent to your email.

  • When items are returned, they are washed with a detergent solution and sanitized using methods recommended by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) .
